I can tell already that Exorcise is going to be my slow-jam summer driving music of 2012. They’re somewhat of an Icelandic pop supergroup with vocals that remind me heavily of Sin Fang. I just bought this album after listening to it on Gogoyoko a few times this morning - you can listen to it there for free!

I’m sitting with Alex Turner in the Bowery Hotel on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, but it looks like he just stumbled off the set of West Side Story: slicked back hair, leather jacket cut with crisp, silver-toothed zippers, white tee, oversized belt buckle. He lights his Parliaments with a Zippo that, upon close inspection, is emblazoned with the title of the latest Arctic Monkeysalbum, last year’s Suck It and See.
